Terms of Use

Reacher ("the Platform"), operated by Gladhands Networks Pvt Ltd, is an online information marketplace that allows registered users to publish the availability of empty shipping containers, trailers, and heavy-lift equipment ("Listings") and to express interest in them ("Bookings"). The Platform functions solely as a bulletin board and discovery tool — similar in nature to a classified advertisement service.

Reacher does not participate in, facilitate, guarantee, or take responsibility for any physical movement, reuse, exchange, or return of any container. All such activities are entirely between the listing party and the booking party.

Shipping containers listed on this Platform are owned or leased by shipping lines. Any reuse, triangulation, or repositioning of a container requires the explicit approval of the relevant shipping line or its appointed agent in accordance with the terms of the Delivery Order (DO), Bill of Lading (B/L), and the shipping line's tariff and detention/demurrage policy.

It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of:

• The Listing Party (factory, CFS, depot, transporter, ICD, or port terminal) to ensure they have lawful custody of the container and the right to make it available; and
• The Booking Party (export agent, freight forwarder, or shipper) to obtain all necessary approvals from the shipping line before taking custody of or using any container found through this Platform.

Reacher does not verify shipping line approvals, container ownership, detention clocks, container condition, or any representation made by a listing party. Listing a container on this Platform does not constitute, imply, or substitute shipping line approval.

Reacher operates as an intermediary within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 ("IT Act"). The Platform is not liable for any third-party information, content, or listings hosted on this Platform, in accordance with Section 79 of the IT Act and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Reacher does not initiate, select recipients of, or modify information transmitted or stored by users. The Platform acts in good faith and in compliance with applicable law in responding to takedown requests and complaints.

By registering and using this Platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in all Listings and Bookings.
• List only containers that are in your lawful custody and for which you have the authority to seek pickup or reuse.
• Obtain all required shipping line approvals independently before any container changes custody.
• Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including the unauthorised transfer or subletting of shipping line property.
• Remove or mark as fulfilled any Listing that is no longer available.
• Not impersonate any shipping line, CFS, ICD, or other entity.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. Reacher does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for purpose of any Listing.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Reacher shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Reliance on any Listing or information on this Platform;
• Any container reuse, triangulation, or repositioning facilitated through introductions made on this Platform;
• Detention, demurrage, or storage charges incurred in connection with any container;
• Any shipping line disapproval, rejection, or penalty related to container reuse;
• Loss, damage to, or theft of any container.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
